In Isolation mode you can select and edit individual components or sub-layers of a grouped object. Ways to enter into isolation mode:
- Double-click a group using the Selection tool
- Click the Isolate Selected Object button in the Control panel (Window -> Control)
- Select a group and choose ‘Isolation Group’ from ‘Properties’ panel.
Gray isolation bar at the top of the document window with the arrow at the left side confirms the Isolation mode. When you are finished editing the isolated object, click the arrow until the isolation bar disappears.
